﴾36﴿ And it is not appropriate for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah, the Exalted, and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should have any choice in their affair. And whoever disobeys the command of Allah, the Exalted, and His Messenger has certainly gone astray with a clear misguidance

[36] In this verse, the address is to all believing men and women, meaning: do not prefer your own opinions or the views of others over the decree of Allah and His Messenger.
Doing so is considered clear disobedience and misguidance.
Connection to the previous verse: The noble qualities mentioned earlier can only truly be attained when a person refrains from acting against the clear rulings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, and does not follow their own judgment or the opinions of others over divine guidance.
"Wa man ya‘ṣ" — here, ‘isyan (disobedience) refers specifically to putting one’s own opinion or preference above the text (naṣṣ) of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
