﴾35﴿ Qaala sanashuddu 'adudaka bi akheeka wa naj'alu lakumaa sultaanan falaa yasiloona ilaikumaa; bi Aayaatinaa antumaa wa manit taba'akumal ghaaliboon
﴾33﴿ He said O my lord, indeed I have killed one of them, so I fear they will kill me
﴾34﴿ And my brother Aaron is more eloquent than I in speech. So send him with me as a helper to confirm me. Indeed, I fear that they will deny me
﴾35﴿ Allah the Almighty said, Soon, I will strengthen your arm through your brother, and We will grant both of you authority so they will not reach you. Go forth with Our signs, both of you and those who follow you will prevail
[33] This is the first supplication of Musa (peace be upon him), meaning: I am guilty in their eyes, so protect me from them.
[34] This is the second supplication concerning his brother; its details have previously been mentioned in Surah Taha and Surah Ash-Shu‘ara.
[35] This is the acceptance of both supplications, though not in order — that is, the acceptance of the second supplication is mentioned first, and the acceptance of the first is mentioned with the statement (And We will grant you both authority), meaning: I will place such awe in Pharaoh’s people that they will fear you, and they will not be able to harm you in any way.
(With Our signs) — meaning the verb “Go” is implied: go, both of you, with Our miracles.
(You two and whoever...) — this is a glad tiding and promise from Allah the Exalted for reassurance.
