وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ 521 یوسف

نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ الْقَصَصِ بِمَا أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ لَمِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ ﴿۳﴾

﴾3﴿ Nahnu naqussu 'alaika ahsanal qasasi bimaaa awhainaaa ilaika haazal quraana wa in kunta min qablihee laminal ghaafileen

﴾3﴿ We narrate to you the best of stories in what We have revealed to you of this Qur'an, although you were, before it, among the unaware

[3] This verse expresses the truthfulness of the Messenger, and it is called "the best of stories" because it contains countless wisdoms, rulings, and lessons.
Some details are as follows:
1. Matters of belief found in it include:
(1) The prophets (peace be upon them) do not possess knowledge of the unseen.
(2) They cannot prevent any obligation from their children or others.
(3) No one can oppose the decree of Allah the Most High.
(4) A refutation of the doubts of the polytheists.
(5) Rejection of associating partners in worship.
(6) Rejection of associating partners in names.
(7) Rejection of associating partners in control.
(8) Rejection of associating partners in lordship.
(9) The mixing of shirk destroys faith.
2. Matters of righteous deeds in it include:
(10) Patience.
(11) Seeking help from Allah the Most High.
(12) Accepting tribulations caused by sins.
(13) Seeking refuge in Allah the Most High from sins.
(14) Fleeing from sin.
(15) Protecting oneself from disgrace.
(16) Acting upon the strategies shown by Allah the Most High.
(17) Loving righteous children and protecting them as much as possible.
3. Evil deeds and their bad consequences mentioned include:
(18) Envy and its result in failure.
(19) Deceiving and plotting against one’s own father.
(20) Lying to the father with excuses.
(21) Plotting against one’s brother.
(22) Burdening and wronging one’s brother.
(23) Women deceiving men.
(24) Mocking one another among themselves.
(25) Loving a stranger.
(26) Attempting to engage in immorality with him.
(27) Crying falsely.
(28) Using tricks to deceive someone.
(29) Selling a free person.
4. Good character traits found in it include:
(30) Displaying good manners with the master.
(31) Accepting his favors.
(32) Avoiding betrayal in his house.
(33) Practicing chastity.
(34) Being kind to a fellow prisoner.
(35) Inviting them to the truth.
(36) Forgiving wrongdoers after forgiving them.
(37) Avoiding betrayal in distribution.
(38) Avoiding punishing the innocent.
(39) Not rebuking the criminal directly.
(40) Seeking forgiveness for him.
5. Various states and types of people are described in it.

(43) Types of crying.
(44) Types of the self.
(45) Types of people of intellect—humans, angels, devils.
(47) Types of prices—price, trade, silver coins.
(48) Types of containers—measuring cup, goblet, vessel, scale.
(49) Types of illuminating objects—sun, moon, stars.
(50) Some number types—seven, eleven.
(51) Types of animals—wolf, cow, bird, camel.
(52) Types of foods and drinks—bread, wine, ears of grain.
(53) Organization of caravans—travelers, arrivals.
(54) Mention of times—tomorrow, night.
Politics and history:
(55) The king.
(56) The noble (Aziz).
(57) The minister of the treasury.
(58) The method of distributing food.
(59) Kindness to relatives.
(60) The reason for the migration of the Children of Israel from Syria to Egypt.
In addition to these, there are many other wisdoms and benefits that become clear through contemplation.
The wisdoms of Allah the Most High have no end.
(لَمِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ) — This is proof that the knowledge of the Prophet (May Allah bless him and give him peace) was through the knowledge and the Qur'an.
