﴾48﴿ Innal laaha laa yaghfiru ai yushraka bihee wa yaghfiru maa doona zaalika limai yashaaa'; wa mai yushrik billaahi faqadif taraaa isman 'azeemaa
﴾49﴿ Alam tara ilal lazeena yuzakkoona anfusahum; balil laahu yuzakkee mai yashaaa'u wa laa yuzlamoona fateelaa
﴾50﴿ Unzur kaifa yaftaroona 'alal laahil kazib, wakafaa biheee ismamm mubeenaa
﴾51﴿ Alam tara ilal lazeena 'ootoo naseebam minal kitaabi yu'minoona bil Jibti wat Taaghooti wa yaqooloona lillazeena kafaroo haaa ulaaa'i ahdaa minal lazeena aamanoo sabeelaa
﴾48﴿ Surely, Allah the Exalted does not forgive that which is associated with Him, and He forgives even the smallest sin for whomever He wills, and the one who associates with Allah, the Exalted, then surely committed a great sin
﴾49﴿ Have you not seen those who describe their souls, but Allah, the Exalted, purifies whomever He wills, and is not oppressed as much as a thread between a date seed
﴾50﴿ Look at how they slander Allah, the Most High, with lies, and lying is enough for an open sin
﴾51﴿ Have you not seen those who have been given a share of the book, they believe in the magic, And to every deity except Allah, the Exalted, and they say about the disbelievers that they find the right path more than the believers
[48] This is the answer to the question that we are people of faith, why do you invite us, the answer was that you are committing polythism, so this is not faith -
Benefits: Polythism and disbelief will not be forgiven without repentance, and if there are other major sins, they will be forgiven with or without repentance by the grace of God Almighty, And minor sins are also forgiven by good deeds, and this is the religion of Ahl al-Sunnah wal Jama'at, and this is the reason that it was polytheism among the People of the Book, (Question) It is stated in verse (53) of Surah Zumar that (إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا) (innal laaha yaghfiruz zunooba jamee'aa) (Answer 1) It is addressed to believers, so their sins are lower than polytheism and disbelief, (Answer 2) There forgiveness is meant with repentance and here without repentance -
[49] This is also a punishment for them, that is why it is forbidden to describe yourself - (يُزَكِّي مَنْ يَشَاءُ) (yuzakkee mai yashaaa'u) Purity comes with the success of monotheism - and in this one of their ugliness is mentioned -
[50] This is also a punishment for them - and their ugliness is mentioned - the pronoun Biheee refers to slander or lying -
[51] This is also a punishment for them because their beliefs were polytheism and they consider polytheists better than believers - (بِالْجِبْتِ) (bil Jibti) Jabat is said to magic, and it is also said to any deity except Allah Ta'ala, And (وَالطَّاغُوتِ) (wat Taaghooti) is said to that Satan who entered their gods and spoke to them, and it is also said to every god except Allah - and in this verse he mentioned two of their evils -
