أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا نَصِيبًا مِنَ الْكِتَابِ يَشْتَرُونَ الضَّلَالَةَ وَيُرِيدُونَ أَنْ تَضِلُّوا السَّبِيلَ ﴿۴۴﴾ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِأَعْدَائِكُمْ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ نَصِيرًا ﴿۴۵﴾ مِنَ الَّذِينَ هَادُوا يُحَرِّفُونَ الْكَلِمَ عَنْ مَوَاضِعِهِ وَيَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا وَاسْمَعْ غَيْرَ مُسْمَعٍ وَرَاعِنَا لَيًّا بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمْ وَطَعْنًا فِي الدِّينِ وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاسْمَعْ وَانْظُرْنَا لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ وَأَقْوَمَ وَلَكِنْ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا ﴿۴۶﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ آمِنُوا بِمَا نَزَّلْنَا مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا مَعَكُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ نَطْمِسَ وُجُوهًا فَنَرُدَّهَا عَلَى أَدْبَارِهَا أَوْ نَلْعَنَهُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَّا أَصْحَابَ السَّبْتِ وَكَانَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ مَفْعُولًا ﴿۴۷﴾

﴾44﴿ Alam tara ilal lazeena ootoo naseebam minal Kitaabi yashtaroonad dalaalata wa yureedoona an tadillus sabeel
﴾45﴿ Wallaahu a'lamu bi a'daaa'i-kum; wa kafaa billaahi waliyyanw wa kafaa billaahi naseera
﴾46﴿ Minal lazeena haadoo yuharrifoonal Kalima 'am mawaadi'ihee wa yaqooloona sami'naa wa 'asainaa wasma' ghaira musma'inw wa raa'inaa laiyam bi alsinatihim wa ta'nan fiddeen; wa law annahum qaaloo sami'naa wa ata'naa wasma' wanzurnaa lakaana khairal lahum wa aqwama wa laakil la' a'nahumul laahu bikufrihim falaa yu'minoona illaa qaleela
﴾47﴿ Yaaa aiyuha lazeena ootul Kitaaba aaminoo bimaa nazzalnaa musadiqallimaa ma'akum min qabli an natmisa wujoohan fanaruddahaa 'alaaa adbaarihaaa aw nal'anahum kamaa la'annaaa Ashaabas Sabt; wa kaana amrul laahi maf'oolaa

﴾44﴿ Have you not seen the misguidance towards those who have been given a portion of the book and want to divert you from the right path
﴾45﴿ And Allah, the Exalted, knows best about your enemies, and Allah, the Exalted is Sufficient, the Protector, and Allah, the Exalted, the Helper, is sufficient
﴾46﴿ Some Jews (are people) who change the words of Allah Almighty from their own places and say that we heard it and we do not accept it, And hear while you have become a non-listener, and they twist their tongues, And they mock the religion (Islam), and if they said, we heard and obeyed, and listen and consider us It was better for them and more righteous (lawful), but Allah Almighty cursed them because of their disbelief, so they did not believe, but only a few did
﴾47﴿ O People of the Book: Believe in what We have sent down while confirming the Book that is with you, Before we destroy the shape of the faces, we turn them back on their backs, or we curse them as we cursed the people of Saturday, and the Allah's decree has been

[44] From this verse to verse (7) is the third chapter, and in this chapter, it mentions the seventeen evils of the people of the book and punishes them, And in the end, there is fear and good news - in this verse, he mentioned two of their evils (1) getting astray (2) leading other people astray -
[45] That is, although they are mullahs, they are enemies of your religion, this is also a punishment - and in this, one of their evils is to mention that they are enemies of Muslims, (وَكَفَى) (wa kafaa) This word is clear about monotheism, that there is no need for Allah Almighty to have another partner in the guardianship and control -
[46] This is also a punishment - spiritual distortion means that they distort the meaning and prove their polythism and innovations from it, They say that we heard it with our tongues, and they say that we disobeyed in secret, and inaudible is a vague word, , no one can hear to you bad words, The wrong meaning of it is that Allah will make you deaf or die, because the dead cannot hear - and in this verse, six of them have been mentioned, (إِلَّا قَلِيلًا) (illaa qaleela) Few people believe, or they believe only a little, that is, they consider only Allah Almighty as the creator, and they associate with Him, and they also deny the Messenger and the Qur'an -
[47] This is a call to faith for the people of the book on the Holy Qur'an and it is to scare them with punishment in this world, The first punishment is that their faces will become like their backs, and the second punishment is that they will be disfigured, and they will become monkeys like the companions of the Sabbath, This is due to the fact that they will either openly deny it and say to the true religion false, and for this crime, the punishment is the first type and it is suitable for this crime, Or they distort the form of religion by tricks, so for this crime, the punishment is the second type and it is suitable for it -
Benefit: If it is asked that some of the people of the book have believed and yet this punishment has not befallen them? The first answer to this matter was that none of them believed, so these torments will come because some believed, so these torments were removed from everyone - The second answer is that these torments have come - the third answer is that these torments are in the hereafter - the fourth is an allusion to their degradation and humiliation -
