﴾168﴿ Allazeena qaaloo li ikhwaanihim wa qa'adoo law ataa'oonaa maa qutiloo; qul fadra'oo'an anfusikumul mawta in kuntum saadiqeen
﴾169﴿ Wa laa tahsabannal lazeena qutiloo fee sabeelillaahi amwaata; bal ahyaaa'un 'inda Rabbihim yurzaqoon
﴾170﴿ Fariheena bimaaa aataa humul laahu min fadlihee wa yastabshiroona billazeena lam yalhaqoo bihim min khalfihim allaa khawfun 'alaihim wa laa hum yahzanoon
﴾171﴿ Yastabshiroona bini'matim minal laahi wa fad linw wa annal laaha laa yudee'u ajral mu'mineen

﴾168﴿ They are the ones who said about their brothers and refrained (from Jihad), if they had accepted our words, they would not have been killed
﴾169﴿ And do not consider those who are killed in the way of Allah, the Exalted, to be dead (like the common dead), but they are alive and close to their Lord, they are given sustenance
﴾170﴿ They are happy with what Allah has given them, they receive good news about those who have not yet joined them after them, that there will be no fear for them, and neither will they grieve
﴾171﴿ They receive the good news of the blessings of Allah Almighty and His grace and that Allah Almighty does not waste the reward of the believers

[168] In this verse, there is an ugliness mentioned (لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ) (li ikhwaanihim), it means this ethnic brotherhood -
[169] Because it was stated in the previous verse that they considered martyrdom in the way of Allah to be a common thing, in this verse, the greatness of the martyrs is expressed in order to refute the hypocrites' assumption, for this reason, they said here in the first place, (وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ) (Wa laa tahsabanna) This means that these are not the kind of dead who are deprived of pleasures, but after death in purgatory they have pleasures and this life of purgatory is great for the martyrs and for the prophets peace be upon them it is more than this, And it is also called spiritual life, and sometimes its effect on the body is such that the body is protected from becoming dust - and its further explanation is in verse (154) of Surah Al-Baqarah, (يُرْزَقُونَ) (yurzaqoon) What is meant by this is the sustenance of Barzakh (purgatory), and Allah Almighty is aware of its truth and details - in this verse, four points of good news are mentioned
[170] In this verse, two points of good news are to be mentioned. The point is that their families and relatives, who also believe in monotheism and faith, but have not done charity and jihad like them, Therefore, Allah the Exalted will also enter them in Jannah and give them good news about them with (خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ) (khawfun 'alaihim) -
[171] In this verse, he mentions three words of good news - blessing is that he is given a full reward, and grace is that he is given more, and (وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ) (wa annal laaha) It means not reducing the reward or losing it -
