﴾156﴿ Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo laa takoonoo kallazeena kafaroo wa qaaloo li ikhwaanihim izaa daraboo fil ardi aw kaanoo ghuzzal law kaanoo 'indanaa maa maatoo wa maa qutiloo liyaj'alal laahu zaalika hasratan fee quloobihim; wallaahu yuhyee wa yumeet; wallaahu bimaa ta'maloona Baseer

﴾159﴿ Fabimaa rahmatim minal laahi linta lahum wa law kunta fazzan ghaleezal qalbi lanfaddoo min hawlika fa'afu 'anhum wastaghfir lahum wa shaawirhum fil amri fa izaa 'azamta fatawakkal 'alal laah; innallaaha yuhibbul mutawak kileen

﴾156﴿ O people of faith: Do not be like those who disbelieved (with hypocrisy) and said about their relatives when they traveled in the land or were warrior, if they were with us, they would neither die nor be killed - May Allah, the Exalted, make these words regretful in their hearts, and Allah, the Exalted, gives life and death, and Allah, the Exalted, sees your actions
﴾157﴿ And if you are killed in the way of Allah, the Most High, or if you die, forgiveness from Allah, the Most High, and mercy is better than what they collect (wealth)
﴾158﴿ And if you die or are killed, Allah Almighty will surely gather you back
﴾159﴿ So, because of the mercy that is from Allah Almighty, you became soft-hearted towards them, and if you were hot-tempered and hard-hearted, indeed they would have scattered from around you, So you forgive them and seek forgiveness for them and consult with them in the work, so when you have decided to do something, entrust yourself to Allah Almighty

[156] In this verse, is the teaching of the good manners to ward off defeat, not to be similar to the hypocrites in sayings and privately in using the word (if) when confronting destiny, (لِيَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ) (liyaj'alal laahu) Laam is the destiny for (laa takoonoo), that is, the end of their words is only regret and woe, it is no longer useful, or Lam is the cause for (laa takoonoo) And (zaalika) is a indication not to accept the words of the hypocrites -
[157] Because the hypocrites considered bad the martyrdom and death in the way of Allah Almighty and forbade people from it, so in this verse he encouraged them to martyrdom, (وَرَحْمَةٌ) (wa rahma) Special rewards in which the attainment of Jannah is included -
[158] In this verse, there is a mention of general death and murder, even though it is not in the way of Allah, and since there is a lot of martyrdom (killing) in Jihad, before one's own death, then in the previous verse, it mentions killing first, And it has been said that in both verses there is a reference to three types of people: one type of people acts for the forgiveness of sins, the second type acts for the attainment of paradise, and the third type acts for the attainment of divine visitation -
[159] In this verse, there is an attribute of the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, that his morals were soft. It is indicated that such attributes are also applicable to the Amir of Jihad, and the Companions are also mentioned in this regard, even though they did mistake in uhud - (فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ) (Fabimaa rahmatim) It is indicated that the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, is in need of the mercy of Allah Almighty in his attributes - it is written the meaning of Tawakkul in Maalam al-Tanzil like this, who does not think that the helper is without Allah Almighty, nor the sustenance without it - nor is he aware of his situations without Allah Almighty - Also, trusting is the use of means in accordance with the Shariah ruling and trusting in Allah Almighty -
