﴾82﴿ Faman tawallaa ba'da zaalika fa ulaaa'ika humul faasiqoon
﴾83﴿ Afaghaira deenil laahi yabghoona wa lahooo aslama man fis samaawaati wal ardi taw'anw wa karhanw wa ilaihi yurja'oon
﴾84﴿ Qul aamannaa billaahi wa maaa unzila 'alainaa wa maaa unzila 'alaaa Ibraaheema wa Ismaa'eela wa Ishaaqa wa Ya'qooba wal Asbaati wa maaa ootiya Moosaa wa 'Eesaa wan Nabiyyoona mir Rabbihim laa nufarriqu baina ahadim minhum wa nahnu lahoo muslimoon
﴾85﴿ Wa mai yabtaghi ghairal Islaami deenan falany yuqbala minhu wa huwa fil Aakhirati minal khaasireen
﴾82﴿ So whoever turns away after this, those people are completely disobedient
﴾83﴿ Do they ask for any other religion apart from the religion of Allah, the Exalted, And specially for him has been subordinated whoever is in the heavens and the earth with pleasure and compulsion, And you will be returned to Allah Almighty
﴾84﴿ Say, We believe in Allah, the Most High, and in the Book that was revealed to us, and that which was revealed to Abraham, peace be upon him, Ishmael, peace be upon him, Isaac, peace be upon him, Jacob, peace be upon him, and his descendants, And the book that was given to Moses (peace be upon him) and Jesus (peace be upon him) and to other prophets from their Lord, we do not differentiate between one of them and we are sincere in our service to Allah, the Most High
﴾85﴿ And whoever asks for a religion other than Islam, then it will never be accepted from him and he will be one of the losers in the Hereafter
[82] Here, transgressor means unbeliever because he is outside the ruling of Almighty Allah - and the description because he mentioned that the people of the book are very choked with this name -
[83] It is a punishment that a person who turns away from the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, does not accept monotheism, he wants a religion other than the religion of Allah Almighty, (أَسْلَمَ) (aslama) It is meant to follow Sharia, so angels and believers are meant, And (طَوْعًا)(voluntarily) is that faith which is accepted without war, and (كَرْهًا) (reluctance) is that which is believed after war, Therefore, in the first interpretation only the believers are meant, and in the second interpretation the unbelievers are also included in it -
[84] In this verse, the religion of Allah Almighty is expressed, which is mentioned in the previous verse. The result is that we believe in all the books and messengers, but we only serve Allah Almighty, we do not worship the prophets, This is also the case in verse (136) of Surah Al-Baqarah. In Surah Al-Baqarah, it was in response to the objection of the Jews, and here the purpose is to express the religion of Allah Almighty -
[85] In this verse, there is a lot of punishment and fear for the one who says religion for something else, contrary to the religion of Monotheism and Sunnah, as if he is a polytheist and an innovator - (دِينًا) (deenan) It is a reference that he calls other than Islam a religion and by means of it he gets close to Allah Almighty, like this is the method of Jews, Christians and innovators, then they cannot get close to Allah Almighty through it - and if they do not say religion for it, they are infidels or sinners -
