﴾58﴿ We recite this to you from the verses (reasons) and advice full of wisdom
﴾59﴿ Indeed the state of Jesus, peace be upon him, is the same as the state of Adam, peace be upon him, He created it from dust, then Allah said him "Be", and he be became to be
﴾60﴿ This is the right from your Lord, so do not be among the doubters
﴾61﴿ So whoever disputes with you about Jesus, peace be upon him, after he has reached you with knowledge (through revelation), then say come, that we invite our children and your children and our women and your women and ourself and yourself, So let us be humble, then let us ask for the curse of Allah Almighty on the liars
[58] In this verse, the truth of the Messenger is proved (الْآيَاتِ) (the verses), the reasons for the being servant of Jesus, peace be upon him, (وَالذِّكْرِ الْحَكِيمِ) (and the remembrance of the Wise), the words of advice, warning and good news -
[59] This is the answer to the question that the creation of Jesus, peace be upon him, without a father is a proof that he can fullfill the people needs? The answer is that both the parents of Adam, peace be upon him, were not, so he must have been a great god, but he is not a god, And in this is the simile, of unbelievable with a lot of unbelievable -
[60] This is emphasis of the past subject and is addressed to the Prophet, may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him, and the Ummah is meant by it, (فَلَا تَكُنْ مِنَ الْمُمْتَرِينَ) (falaa takum minal mumtareen) Forbidding doubt is not necessary for its occurrence, that is, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, did not have any doubt about it - and because the issue of Qiblah was very important for this Ummah, for this reason, in verse (147) of Surah Al-Baqarah, he emphasized with Falaa Takunan. -
[61] In this verse, there is a call for mubahlah to the Christians, but they denied mubahlah - present mubahlah is also permissible on the condition that the issue is certain and before that they are understood with reasons and their answers are given, If they don't accept it after that, Mubahlah is valid - Mubahlah is called bad supplicatons and cursing, and it was a condition to gather family members and companions in this mubahlah, but this is not a condition in every mubahlah, As it is mentioned in Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Juma Mubahlah of the Jews, (أَنْفُسَنَا) (anfusanaa), it means these brothers and other companions -
