تِلْكَ الرُّسُلُ 118 آل عمران

قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ قَالَ كَذَلِكِ اللَّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ ﴿۴۷﴾ وَيُعَلِّمُهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ ﴿۴۸﴾ وَرَسُولًا إِلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنِّي قَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُمْ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَنْفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَأُبْرِئُ الْأَكْمَهَ وَالْأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَةً لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿۴۹﴾ وَمُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ ﴿۵۰﴾

﴾47﴿ Qaalat Rabbi annaa yakoonu lee waladunw wa lam yamsasnee basharun qaala kazaalikil laahu yakhluqu maa yashaaa'; izaa qadaaa amran fa innamaa yaqoolu lahoo kun fayakoon
﴾48﴿ Wa yu'allimuhul Kitaaba wal Hikmata wat Tawraata wal Injeel
﴾49﴿ Wa Rasoolan ilaa Baneee Israaa'eela annee qad ji'tukum bi Aayatim mir Rabbikum annee akhluqu lakum minatteeni kahai 'atittairi fa anfukhu feehi fayakoonu tairam bi iznil laahi wa ubri'ul akmaha wal abrasa wa uhyil mawtaa bi iznil laahi wa unabbi'ukum bimaa taakuloona wa maa taddakhiroona fee buyootikum; inna fee zaalika la Aayatal lakum in kuntum mu'mineen
﴾50﴿ Wa musaddiqal limaa baina yadaiya minat Tawraati wa liuhilla lakum ba'dal lazee hurrima 'alaikum; wa ji'tukum bi Aayatim mir Rabbikum fattaqul laaha wa atee'oon

﴾47﴿ Mary said, "O my Lord, how will I have a child when no man has touched me?" He (Jibril) said, "So it will be; Allah creates whatever He wills. When He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is."
﴾48﴿ And He will teach him the Book (the Quran), and words of wisdom (the sunnah of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and give him peace), and the Torah, and the Gospel.
﴾49﴿ And (He will send him as) a messenger to the Children of Israel: “Indeed, I have brought you miracles from your Lord: I will create for you from clay the shape of a bird, then I will blow into it, and it will become a flying bird by Allah’s command. And I will heal the blind from birth and the leper, and I will bring the dead to life by Allah’s command. And I will inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses. Surely in this are signs (of Allah’s oneness and messengership) for you if you believe.”
﴾50﴿ And I have been sent confirming what came before me—which is the Torah—and so that I may make lawful for you some of what was forbidden to you. And I have brought you other signs from your Lord. So fear Allah (by abandoning shirk) and follow me.

[47] In this, Mary's astonishment is mentioned in terms of what is customary. (اللَّهُ يَخْلُقُ) – "Allah creates": In the case of Zakariya, peace be upon him, the word "He does" (يفعل) was mentioned, but here "He creates" (يخلق) is used, because there, the matter was not something completely beyond habit—it was only an issue of old age. But here, it is extremely contrary to custom: there is no husband, yet a child is born.
[48] This is related to the state of Jesus, peace be upon him, in terms of religious matters; before this, the mention was of existential matters. The reason for mentioning the Torah and the Gospel afterwards is this. The second opinion is that what is meant by "the Book" is the category of divine scriptures. The third opinion is that what is meant is the knowledge of writing. (الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكمَةَ) “The Book and the Wisdom”: the Quran and the sunnah of the last Prophet will be taught to him after he descends from the heavens.
[49] “(A Messenger)”—this indicates that he is neither an evildoer as the Jews claim, nor is he the son of Allah as the Christians claim. During the time of Jesus (peace be upon him), Greek medicine was highly renowned, and they practiced healing. Therefore, Allah granted him miracles related to healing, so it would be clear that even the physicians were powerless before them. Thus, the miracle of each prophet is appropriate to the circumstances of their own time. “For you”—for the purpose of your believing.
[50] Some of the things that were forbidden to the Jews are mentioned in verse 146 of Surah Al-An‘am. These were made lawful for them by way of abrogation, or it refers to things that false, idol-worshipping scholars had unlawfully declared forbidden without any evidence, which Jesus (peace be upon him) then made lawful for them. In this sense, “some” here can mean “all.” But those things which they considered forbidden were included among these “some,” because He said “some” regarding them. (So fear Allah and obey me)—in this matter, the sunnah is mentioned, and this is the call of all the prophets, as is stated in Surah Ash-Shu‘ara.
