قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الْكِبَرُ وَامْرَأَتِي عَاقِرٌ قَالَ كَذَلِكَ اللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ ﴿۴۰﴾ قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ لِي آيَةً قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا رَمْزًا وَاذْكُرْ رَبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ ﴿۴۱﴾ وَإِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَى نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿۴۲﴾

﴾40﴿ Qaala Rabbi annaa yakoonu lee ghulaamunw wa qad balaghaniyal kibaru wamraatee 'aaqirun qaala kazaalikal laahu yaf'alu maa yashaaa'
﴾41﴿ Qaala Rabbij 'al leee Aayatan qaala Aaayatuka allaa tukalliman naasa salaasata ayyaamin illa ramzaa; wazkur Rabbaka kaseeranw wa sabbih bil'ashiyyi wal ibkaar
﴾42﴿ Qaala Rabbij 'al leee Aayatan qaala Aaayatuka allaa tukalliman naasa salaasata ayyaamin illa ramzaa; wazkur Rabbaka kaseeranw wa sabbih bil'ashiyyi wal ibkaar

﴾40﴿ Zakariya, peace be upon him, said: O my Lord, how can be a child for me, and I am old, and my wife is barren? He (Angels) said, "You will be like this." Allah Almighty does whatever He wills -
﴾41﴿ He said, O my Lord: Establish a sign for me, He said, Your sign is that you cannot speak to the people for three days except by your sign, and remember your Lord a lot, and glorify him in the evening and in the morning
﴾42﴿ And when the angels said, O Maryam, Allah Almighty have chosen you, kept you pure, and given you superiority over the women of the worlds

[40] The meaning of these questions is to find out whether we will both become young or I will have another wedding, Or will it be a child in this state? So it was answered that in this state of old age he will have a child - it is not meant to deny because this is unlikely from the Prophet's honor -
[41] He asks for a sign so that he will thank very much - the sign was that Allah the Exalted forbade him from speaking worldly words for three days, and this was fasting in that religion or he tied his tongue - a lot remembrance is that it is according to the belief of monotheism and in accordance with the Sunnah, and the meaning is to continue calling for the monotheism of Allah, the Exalted, What is meant by (عَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ) (ashiyyi wal ibkaar) is all the times - because he himself asked for a sign, therefore it is not permissible that Allah Almighty punished him as it is written in the Bible, and this is a distortion -
[42] The first superiority to (اصْطَفَا) (as tafaa) is the five attributes mentioned in verse (37) and the second superiority is that Allah Almighty gave her children without a male, This is not among the women of this world, (الْمَلَائِكَةُ) (malaaa'ikatu) The plural means the singular, that is, Gabriel, peace be upon him, spoke to her, and this is the honor of Mary, peace be upon her -
