﴾246﴿Did you not see a group of Bani Israel after Moses, peace be upon him, when they said to their prophet, appoint us the kingship so that we can fight in the way of Allah, the Most High, and he said that the prophet indeed it is close to you, and if war is decreed for you, then do not fight, They said, "What excuse is there for us not to fight in the way of Allah, the Exalted, and now that we have been expelled from our homes and our sons - so when it was prescribed for them to fight, they turned away, except for a few of them, and Allah, the Exalted, knows the state of the wrongdoers
﴾247﴿And their Prophet said to them, "Allah has appointed Talut as a king over you, They said: "How can he be king over us, when we are more deserving of kingship than him, and he has not been given a large amount of wealth, The Prophet said: Allah the Exalted has given him superiority, He has given him a lot of knowledge and effort, and Allah the Exalted gives His property to anyone who wants it, and Allah the Exalted is All-Knowing of Bounty over everything

[246] This is the second event to encourage Jihad, and this is the reason for the necessity of the Amir for Jihad - and the reason for the necessity of Jihad is that they were thrown out of their homes and their children were imprisoned, and there was no other obstacle, (الْمَلَإِ) (al malai) The congregation of discerning who are aristocrats is used for worldly honor or religious honor, and this story takes place three hundred years after Moses, peace be upon him, during the time of Shmuel, peace be upon him, in the city of Rameh, in the place of Ephraim in Shaam - (مَلِكًا) (malikan) Here, the meaning is the commander of the army (مِنْ دِيَارِنَا وَأَبْنَائِنَا) (min diyaarinaa wa abnaaa'inaa) Goliath had driven them out of Palestine and had forbidden their children from them (قَلِيلًا مِنْهُمْ) (qaleelam minhum), meaning those three hundred and thirteen people, (الظَّالِمِينَ) (Al zzaalimeen) who have wronged them by abandoning Jihad -
[247] In this verse, the wickedness of Bani Israel is mentioned, that they put forward their own intellectual opinion against the ruling of Allah Almighty and the Prophet - and the other wickedness is that for them, the criterion is the largeness of the lineage and wealth, In this verse, the attributes of the Amir are mentioned (1) broadness of knowledge, religion and politics (2) great courage and courage - (Taloot) the son of Kash is called Saul in the Torah, (وَنَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِالْمُلْكِ) (wa nahnu ahaqqu bilmulki) In Bani Israel there were two major tribes, one was the tribe of prophethood, the other was the tribe of the kingdom, and Taloot was not one of them, but it was in the descendants of Benjamin, (وَالْجِسْمِ) (waljismi) refers to that worthy face with strength and courage -
