[238] This 16th ruling is the protection of prayer - it is a reference to the fact that family order cannot be built without prayer, and it is also a reference to not neglecting prayer in the preoccupation with women's issues and jurisprudence - It is stated in most hadiths that the middle prayer is another prayer - and the meaning of protecting each prayer is to perform it at its shari'a time, and to perform the complementary duties and obligations, and to perform modesty, the Sunan, and the mustahab - (وَقُومُوا لِلَّهِ) (qoomoo lillaahi qaaniteen) This is the reason that qiyam is the pillar of prayer (qanetin) Qanoot most often means obedience or it means silence from worldly words -
[239] In this ruling, prayer is at the time of intense fear, when they cannot stand up togeather because of fear, (فَرِجَالًا أَوْ رُكْبَانًا) (farijaalan aw rukbaanan) He is on foot or riding on a horse and it is to do bowing and prostrating with pointing, (عَلَّمَكُمْ مَا لَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْلَمُونَ) (allamakum maa lam takoonoo ta'lamoon) What is meant by this is the way of prayer that is mentioned in brief (short) in the Holy Qur'an and in detailed it is mentioned in hadiths -
[240] This is the 17th ruling for the Iddat of the wife of the deceased husband in the way of Ihsan (goodness) and before this in verse (234) obligatory Iddat has been mentioned and in this verse Iddat Ihsani has been mentioned, so it is not abrogated - (مَتَاعًا) (mataa'an) This includes both alimony and residence (فَإِنْ خراجْنَ), that is, after the obligatory period (four months and ten days), if he leaves the house of his own accord, he does not complete the year, (مَعْرُوفٍ) (ma'roof) Is it halal to get married, or is it halal to work, or is she going to meet her parents -
[241] This ruling is the 18th for general absolutes, this muta'a is mustahab or wajib, according to scholars' differences - and this muta'a includes alimony, housing, a type of clothing, a tent, etc - (بِالْمَعْرُوفِ) (bilma'roofi) According to custom, (الْمُتَّقِينَ) (alal muttaqeen) What is meant by this is the one who keeps away from polytheism, i.e. Muslim - in verse (236), Mutah is obligatory on the husband by agreement, and in performing the obligatory act, it is necessary to be kind (sincere), and in this verse, there is a difference in the obligation of Mutah, so to perform it, Taqwa (caution) is a necessity -
