﴾231﴿And when you divorce women, then they approach their date (deadline), so keep them in a good way (returning) or let them go in a way that pleases them, And do not keep them for harming, that you you exceed the limit, And whoever does this, then he has wronged himself, and do not make fun of the verses of Allah, the Exalted, and remember the favor of Allah, the Exalted, upon you, And what Allah the Exalted sent down to you from the Book (Qur'an) and the Sunnah, he advises you to it and fear Allah the Exalted and know that Allah is All-Knowing
﴾232﴿And when you divorce the women after they have reached the end of their period, do not forbid them to marry their husbands when they are satisfied with each other in a permissible way, With this ruling, it is admonished whoever is among you who believes in Allah Almighty and the Last Day, this ruling protects you from infamy and cleanses you (from wrongdoing), and Allah Almighty knows and you do not know
﴾233﴿And mothers breastfeed their children for two whole years, for the one who wants to finish the breastfeeding period, and the children's father is responsible for their food and their clothing in a good way (according to custom), It is not a duty to do anything except to the best of one's ability, not to harm a mother for her child, nor a father for his child،, And on the father of the heir (which is this child) it is like this alimony, so if they want apart from breastfeeding to the pleasure of both and with their advice, then there is no sin (to complete the period), And if you want to get a nanny for your children, then there is no sin on you when you complete what you have appointed in a good way and fear Allah Almighty and know that Allah Almighty sees your actions
[231] In this verse, there is a rejection of the Jahili method that they used to refer to each other after every divorce, and the purpose of referring to their wife was to harm their wife, as the number of divorces was also not with them, (آيَاتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوً) (aayaatillaahi huzuwaa) To make fun of the verses is to not follow them and that is to insult it , (فَبَلَغْنَ أَجَلَهُنَّ) (fabalaghna ajala hunna) Balagh here means to approach (أَجَلَهُنَّ)(ajala hunna) This means the prescribed period (نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ) (ni'matal laahi) The meaning of these rules of marriage and divorce is detailed -
[232] This is the 11th ruling to get married after divorce and this is rejected in the way of Jahiliyyah, when someone divorced a woman and then married her previous husband, they considered this a shame - The second custom was that they did not allow this woman to marry anyone else and considered it a shame - (فَبَلَغْنَ) (fabalaghna) Here, means maturity - (أَزْوَاجَهُنَّ) (ajalahunna) The first justification refers to this previous husband, and the second justification refers to the other husband to whom she is now marrying, (ذَلِكَ يُوعَظُ) (zaalika yoo'azu) because it is difficult to end the custom, for this reason, He has mentioned three emphases, (أَزْكَى لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ) (azkaa lakum wa at-har) The difference between both of them is that the first one means to keep from infamy (from false belonging) and the other means to keep clean from evil deeds and swearing
[233] This is the twelfth ruling on the issue of nurturing and raising children - it is a rejection of Jahiliyyah, that when a woman was divorced, she had such an enmity towards her husband that she did not breastfeed her children - Therefore, he established a law for that, (مَوْلُودٌ لَهُ) (mawloodul lahoo) says to the father, and this indicates that the lineage of the child goes to the father, not to the mother, except from the family of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, because the lineage of the family of Fatima, may Allah be pleased with her, is from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace - (وَالْوَالِدَاتُ) (Walwaa lidaatu) Here, it is meant those mothers who are divorced and her period has passed, but there is a small child with her, so it is necessary to breastfeed the child, and the reward for giving the child to the father is necessary - (حَوْلَيْنِ كَامِلَيْنِ) (hawlaini kaamilaini) This is a clear reason that the duration of breastfeeding is only two years, (لِمَنْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يُتِمَّ) (liman araada ai yutimma), it is a reference that it is not obligatory to complete two years, (بِوَلَدِهَا) (biwaladihaa) The addition of the son to the mother is due to her compassion (waa'ali al-warith). If the father is not alive and the child owns the property, then the mother's expenses are required from the child's property, and if the child's property is not, then the close relatives who are mahram and inherit it are required from them, (وَإِنْ أَرَدْتُمْ أَنْ تَسْتَرْضِعُوا) (wa in arattum an tastardi'ooo) That is, if the child's mother is excused or wants a high salary, then it is permissible for the father to take another woman to breastfeed the child, and in a way he pays for the good upbringing of the child -
