﴾165﴿And some people are those who take partners other than Allah, and love them as they love Allah, and the people of good faith are firm in the love of Allah, And if those who committed shirk, when they see the punishment, knew this saying that indeed the power of all is for the one Allah, and that indeed Allah is severe in punishment (then they would not have committed shirk).
﴾166﴿When they separate those people who have followed them from their followers and when they see the punishment and their ties with each other are severed
﴾167﴿And the followers say, I wish we could go back to this world, so we should abandon them, just like they abandoned us, Allah will show them their deeds for the woes of them, and they will never come out of the fire
[165] In this verse, the polytheists are punished, it means the elders of the polytheists, the mullahs and the bigots, who have shown polytheism and heresy to the people, and they imitated their polytheism and call them love - (يُحِبُّونَهُمْ) (yuhibboonahum) It means that they follow them or love is its true meaning and this requires physical and financial worship - (كَحُبِّ اللَّهِ) (kahubbil laahi) It is indicated that love for other than Allah is shirk when it is equal to Allah's love - (وَلَوْ يَرَى) (wa law yara) To see with the eyes means and its object is hidden - (الْعَذَابَ) (al 'azaaba) And the retribution of (لَوْ) (law) is hidden - it's mean (أَنَّ الْقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًا) (annal quwwata lillaahi jamee'an) Or the scientific view is meant, and (أَنَّ الْقُوَّةَ) (annal quwwata) ah is instead of two objects, and at the end of it, the punishment is hidden, that is, Lamma asharkwa (they did not commit polytheism) - (أَشَدُّ حُبًّا) (ashaddu hubba) That is, the believers do not obey others as they obey Allah, the Exalted, and for the sake of obeying Allah, they abandon the obedience of other people, for this reason, their obedience is strong -
[166-167] In these two verses, he mentions the abandon of preceptor and their disciples from each other on the Day of Judgment - (مِنَ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوا) (minal lazeenattaba'oo) The followers in this verse are general, if they are good or bad, and the point of acquittal is that they will say that we did not give you the command to follow us, why did you follow us without a reason - (كَذَلِكَ يُرِيهِمُ اللَّهُ) (kazaalika yureehimullaahu) That is, just as the result of its invalid action was given, in the same way, all acts of blasphemy, polytheism, and heresy will be invalidated, and they will regret doing these actions -
