﴾75﴿ Zaalikum bimaa kuntum tafrahoona fil ardi bighairil haqqi wa bimaa kuntum tamrahoon
﴾76﴿ Udkhulooo abwaaba Jahannama khaalideena feehaa fabi'sa maswal mutakabbireen
﴾77﴿ Fasbir inna wa'dal laahi haqq; fa immaa nuriyannak ba'dal lazee na'i duhum aw natawaffayannaka fa ilainaa yurja'oon
﴾78﴿ Wa laqad arsalnaa Rusulam min qablika minhum man qasasnaa 'alaika wa minhum mal lam naqsus 'alaik; wa maa kaana li Rasoolin any yaatiya bi Aayatin illaa bi iznil laah; fa izaa jaaa'a amrul laahi qudiya bilhaqqi wa khasira hunaalikal mubtiloon
﴾79﴿ Allaahul lazee ja'ala lakumul an'aama litarkaboo minhaa wa minhaa taakuloon
﴾75﴿ This is because you rejoiced in the land without right, being arrogant, and because you were acting with arrogance
﴾76﴿ Enter the gates of Hell to abide therein forever; what an evil dwelling place for the arrogant
﴾77﴿ So be patient; indeed, the promise of Allah is true. Whether We show you some of the punishment We promise them or cause you to die, to Us they will be returned
﴾78﴿ And indeed, We sent messengers before you; among them are those whose stories We have related to you, and among them are those whose stories We have not related to you. And it is not for any messenger to bring a sign except by the permission of Allah. Then, when the command of Allah comes, it will be decided with truth, and at that time, the followers of falsehood will be in loss
﴾79﴿ Allah is the One who created the livestock for you, so that you may ride some of them and eat some of them
[77] Since the condition of the arguers has been described, now consolation is given to the Prophet (May Allah bless him and give him peace) in five ways.
[78] This fourth consolation is through the mention—by allusion—of the duties of the previous prophets.
The fifth consolation is a response to the disbelievers’ demand: “If you are truly a messenger, then bring us the miracles we request.” The answer is: "Wa mā kāna li-rasūlin"—no messenger has ever had such authority. This is also mentioned in Surah Ar-Ra'd (13:38) and Surah Ibrahim (14:11).
In this verse, there is a general transmitted proof (dalīl naqlī ijmālī) from the lives of the prophets (peace be upon them).
"Wa khasira hunālika"—their real loss was already present when they committed evil deeds, but it was not apparent to them at that time. The loss became clear at the time of punishment, and that is why the word “hunālika” (there) was specifically mentioned.
[79,80,81] In these verses, other rational proofs are mentioned through the mention of blessings.
In the first verse, two great benefits of livestock are mentioned: riding them and eating from them.
And in the second verse, two more blessings are mentioned.
