[from 133 to 138] This is the fifth story – in it, the need of Lot (peace be upon him) is mentioned: for his own salvation and the salvation of his family, and for the destruction of his people with severity and warning to the deniers.
(مُصْبِحِينَ وَبِاللَّيْلِ) – In this, the address is directed to the people of Mecca, since they would travel for trade to the region of Sham. When they departed from Mecca towards Sham, they would reach the villages of the people of Lot (peace be upon him) in the morning if they started the journey in the early morning, and if they began the journey in the morning, they would reach there by night.
