وَمَنْ يَقْنُتَْْ 1037 سبأ
يَعْلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا وَمَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَمَا يَعْرُجُ فِيهَا وَهُوَ الرَّحِيمُ الْغَفُورُ ﴿۲﴾ وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَأْتِينَا السَّاعَةُ قُلْ بَلَى وَرَبِّي لَتَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ لَا يَعْزُبُ عَنْهُ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَلَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا أَصْغَرُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَلَا أَكْبَرُ إِلَّا فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ ﴿۳﴾ لِيَجْزِيَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ ﴿۴﴾ وَالَّذِينَ سَعَوْا فِي آيَاتِنَا مُعَاجِزِينَ أُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مِنْ رِجْزٍ أَلِيمٌ ﴿۵﴾
﴾2﴿ Ya'lamu maa yaliju fil ardi wa maa yakhruju minhaa wa maa yanzilu minas samaaa'i wa maa ya'ruju feehaa; wa Huwar Raheemul Ghafoor
﴾3﴿ Wa qaalal lazeena kafaroo laa taateenas Saa'ah; qul balaa wa Rabbee lataatiyannakum 'Aalimul Ghaib; laa ya'zubu 'anhu misqaalu zarratin fis samaawaati wa laa fil ardi wa laaa asgharu min zaalika wa laaa akbaru illaa fee kitaabim mubeen
﴾4﴿ Liyajziyal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaat; ulaaa'ika lahum maghfiratunw wa rizqun kareem
﴾5﴿ Wallazeena sa'aw feee aayaatinaa mu'aajizeena ulaaa 'ika lahum 'azaabum mir rijzin aleem
﴾2﴿ He knows what enters into the earth and what comes forth from it, and what descends from the sky and what ascends therein, and He is the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving
﴾3﴿ And the disbelievers say, The Hour will not come to us. Say, Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you!" Allah, the Exalted, is the Knower of the unseen; not even the weight of a speck in the heavens or on the earth is hidden from Him, nor anything smaller or greater than that, but it is recorded in a clear Book
﴾4﴿ So that He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds according to the right way. For them is forgiveness and an honorable provision
﴾5﴿ And those who strive against Our signs in opposition—these will have a severe and painful punishment
[2] This is the second rational proof; the first is the argument of control, and this one is a scientific proof based on the cause that control cannot occur without knowledge.
With these arguments, both the oneness of Allah and the resurrection are intended to be proven.
“What enters into the earth” refers to water, seeds, wealth, the dead, and so on.
“And what comes out of it” refers to water, minerals, plants, trees, etc.
“And what descends from the sky” refers to revelation, angels, water, and so on.
“And what ascends therein” refers to angels, righteous deeds, pure words, etc.
[3] After mentioning the Hereafter in verse (1), there is a warning to those who deny it, and its affirmation is made through an oath by His own Essence. This is the third surah in which there is an oath by the Essence of the Lord regarding the Resurrection.
“Knower of the unseen” is a description of the Lord, meaning He has knowledge of souls, bodies, and their parts — whether some parts are as small as a particle, some are large pieces, and some are fine fragments.
[4] In this, there is glad tidings and a mention of the reason for the Resurrection.
In the verse, faith and righteous deeds are mentioned, so in the reward, both forgiveness and generous provision are mentioned in order.
“Karim” (generous) means it is full of benefits, there is no deficiency in it, no weariness in obtaining it, and there is no reckoning in it either.
[5] This warning of the Hereafter is for those who oppose the signs of Allah, the Exalted.
“In Our signs” refers to attempting to nullify or distort the signs.
“Mu‘ājizīn” is a qualifier for “sa‘aw” — meaning they do not strive to understand it, but rather they are opponents or, in their own assumption, trying to render Allah, the Exalted, incapable of seizing them.
