اقْتَرَبَ ْ 813 الحج
ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ ﴿۶۱﴾ ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ هُوَ الْبَاطِلُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْكَبِيرُ ﴿۶۲﴾ أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَتُصْبِحُ الْأَرْضُ مُخْضَرَّةً إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَطِيفٌ خَبِيرٌ ﴿۶۳﴾ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ ﴿۶۴﴾
﴾61﴿ Zaalika bi annal laaha yoolijul laila fin nahaari wa yoolijun nahaara fil laili wa annal laaha Samee'um Baseer
﴾62﴿ Zaalika bi annal laaha Huwal haqqu wa anna maa yad'oona min doonihee huwal baatilu wa annal laaha Huwal 'Aliyyul kabeer
﴾63﴿ Alam tara annal laaha anzala minas samaaa'i maaa'an fatusbihul ardu mukhdarrah; innal laaha Lateefun Khabeer
﴾64﴿ Lahoo ma fis samaawaati wa ma fil ard; wa innal laaha la Huwal Ghaniyyul Hameed
﴾61﴿ This help is because Allah merges the night into the day and merges the day into the night, and indeed Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing
﴾62﴿ This help is because worship is due solely to Allah, and indeed, what they call upon besides Allah is falsehood. And indeed, Allah is the Most High, the Most Great
﴾63﴿ Do you not see that Allah sends down water from the sky, and the earth becomes green in the morning? Indeed, Allah is Most Kind, All-Aware
﴾64﴿ To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and indeed, Allah is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy
[61] This is the first reason for Allah’s support of the fighter: it means that Allah, who controls the alternation of night and day, is certainly capable of granting victory.
Or, this may be an indirect example showing the benefit of divine support—that through Allah’s help, His oneness becomes manifest, and the falsehood of shirk is exposed.
[62] This is the second reason for Allah’s support: Allah alone is the true God, while all other deities are false. Therefore, Allah can provide help, whereas false gods cannot.
Alternatively, this may indicate the purpose of divine support—that help is granted to make Allah’s oneness evident and to expose the falsehood of shirk.
[63] This is a rational proof of monotheism, connected to the previous verse.
According to a narration from ‘Ikrimah, the phrase “فَتُصْبِحُ” refers to the region of Makkah and the lands of Tihāmah, where when it rains, greenery appears on the earth by morning.
Ibn ‘Atiyyah states that he witnessed the same in the remote valley of Dasūs.
The “fa” in “فَتُصْبِحُ” either retains its original meaning of sequence and immediacy, or it is used simply as a conjunction.
[64] This is another rational proof for monotheism and a refutation of shirk in control and management (taṣarruf).
