سُبْحَانَ الذِيٍ 664 بنی اسرائیل

إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلًا ﴿۶۵﴾ رَبُّكُمُ الَّذِي يُزْجِي لَكُمُ الْفُلْكَ فِي الْبَحْرِ لِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيمًا ﴿۶۶﴾ وَإِذَا مَسَّكُمُ الضُّرُّ فِي الْبَحْرِ ضَلَّ مَنْ تَدْعُونَ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا نَجَّاكُمْ إِلَى الْبَرِّ أَعْرَضْتُمْ وَكَانَ الْإِنْسَانُ كَفُورًا ﴿۶۷﴾

﴾65﴿ Inna 'ibaadee laisa laka 'alaihim sultaan; wa kafaa bi Rabbika Wakeelaa
﴾66﴿ Rabbukumul lazee yuzjee lakumul fulka fil bahri litabtaghoo min fadlih; innahoo kaana bikum Raheemaa
﴾67﴿ Wa izaa massakumuddurru fil bahri dalla man tad'oona illaaa iyyaahu falammaa najjaakum ilal barri a'radtum; wa kaanal insaanu kafooraa

﴾65﴿ Indeed, over My servants you have no authority, and sufficient is your Lord as a Disposer of affairs
﴾66﴿ Your Lord is the One who drives the ships for you through the sea so that you may seek His bounty. Indeed, Allah is ever Merciful to you
﴾67﴿ And when harm touches you at sea, those you invoke besides Allah vanish from you—except Him. But when He delivers you to the land, you turn away. And man is ever ungrateful

[65] In this verse, the protection of some servants from Iblis is mentioned.
The phrase (عِبَادِي) with the possessive pronoun indicates exclusivity, referring to those who are called al-mukhlisīn (sincerely devoted) in other verses.
(وَكَفَى بِرَبِّكَ وَكِيلًا) – This points to the fact that servants are in need of Allah the Exalted for protection and preservation.
(سُلْطَانٌ) – This may refer to the power to mislead, or it may mean a proof or evidence (i.e., an authoritative argument).
[66] In this verse, a rational proof is mentioned, and general blessings are mentioned after specific blessings.
That is, saving from Satan is a specific blessing granted to chosen servants, while saving from drowning is a general blessing that also includes the polytheists.
[67] In this verse, there is a warning to the polytheists about the weakness of their path: in times of hardship, they call upon Allah the Exalted alone, yet afterward they associate partners with Him.
Similar points are found in verse (22) of Surah Yunus, verse (65) of Surah Al-‘Ankabut, and verse (32) of Surah Luqman.
