وَمَا أُبَرِّئٍُ 582 ابراهیم

وَقَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لَمَّا قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ وَعْدَ الْحَقِّ وَوَعَدْتُكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُكُمْ وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ سُلْطَانٍ إِلَّا أَنْ دَعَوْتُكُمْ فَاسْتَجَبْتُمْ لِي فَلَا تَلُومُونِي وَلُومُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ مَا أَنَا بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ وَمَا أَنْتُمْ بِمُصْرِخِيَّ إِنِّي كَفَرْتُ بِمَا أَشْرَكْتُمُونِ مِنْ قَبْلُ إِنَّ الظَّالِمِينَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿۲۲﴾ وَأُدْخِلَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا سَلَامٌ ﴿۲۳﴾ أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ ضَرَبَ اللَّهُ مَثَلًا كَلِمَةً طَيِّبَةً كَشَجَرَةٍ طَيِّبَةٍ أَصْلُهَا ثَابِتٌ وَفَرْعُهَا فِي السَّمَاءِ ﴿۲۴﴾

﴾22﴿ Wa qaalash Shaitaanu lammaa qudiyal amru innal laaha wa'adakum wa'dal haqqi wa wa'attukum fa akhlaftukum wa maa kaana liya 'alaikum min sultaanin illaaa an da'awtukum fastajabtum lee falaa taloomoonee wa loomooo anfusakum maaa ana bimusrikhikum wa maaa antum bimusrikhiyya innee kafartu bimaaa ashraktumooni min qabl; innaz zaalimeena lahum azaabun aleem
﴾23﴿ Wa udkhilal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa bi izni Rabbihim tahiyyatuhum feeha salaam
﴾24﴿ Wa udkhilal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa bi izni Rabbihim tahiyyatuhum feeha salaam

﴾22﴿ And Satan will say when the matter is decided: "Indeed, Allah promised you the promise of truth, and I too promised you, but I betrayed you. And I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. Indeed, I disbelieved in your association of me with Allah before." Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment
﴾23﴿ And those who believed and did righteous deeds in the way of the Prophet will be admitted to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever by the command of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be Peace
﴾24﴿ Have you not seen how Allah sets forth the example of a good word? It is like a good tree—its roots are firmly fixed, and its branches reach up to the sky

[22] Since in the previous verse the condition of human devils (shayāṭīn al-ins) was mentioned, in this verse the state of the jinn devil, namely Iblis, is described in five ways:
1. (إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمْ) – The meaning is: Allah the Exalted gave you the true religion with clear proofs, while I gave you false promises.
2. (وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ عَلَيْكُمْ) – "I had no authority over you." The word sulṭān here can mean evidence—i.e., you accepted my word without proof. Or it can mean force—i.e., I had no power to compel you.
3. (فَلَا تَلُومُونِي...) – “So do not blame me…” This means: you abandoned the path of evidence and followed me by choice.
4. (مَا أَنَا بِمُصْرِخِكُمْ...) – “I cannot help you…” This expresses Iblis’s complete inability to assist them, nor can they help him.
5. (إِنِّي كَفَرْتُ...) – “Indeed, I disbelieved in your association of me with Allah.” The meaning is twofold: I disown the fact that you associated me with Allah in obedience. And also, my own disbelief was caused by your making me a partner with Allah.
[23] In this verse, there is glad tidings for the believers. The phrase (بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ) indicates that entering Paradise is by the will and permission of Allah the Exalted, not solely due to one’s deeds.
(تَحِيَّتُهُمْ فِيهَا) refers to the greeting of peace (Salām) extended to them in Paradise, which comes from Allah Himself and from the angels.
[24] From here begins the fourth section, continuing until verse 27. This section also opens with the phrase (أَلَمْ), serving as a reminder.
In this part, two parables are presented as reminders:
The first parable (verses 24–25) is for Tawḥīd (monotheism). The second parable (verse 26) is for Shirk (polytheism).
Then, in verse 27: There is glad tidings for the believers about their firmness and steadfastness. And a warning of deprivation and punishment for those who follow falsehood and worship false deities.
