لَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ 216 المائدة

وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَمِيثَاقَهُ الَّذِي وَاثَقَكُمْ بِهِ إِذْ قُلْتُمْ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ ﴿۷﴾ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَاءَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا يَجْرِمَنَّكُمْ شَنَآنُ قَوْمٍ عَلَى أَلَّا تَعْدِلُوا اعْدِلُوا هُوَ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَى وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿۸﴾ وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ ﴿۹﴾ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُولَئِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ ﴿۱۰﴾

﴾7﴿ Wazkuroo ni'matal laahi 'alaikum wa meesaaqahul lazee waasaqakum biheee iz qultum sami'naa wa ata'naa wattaqul laah; innal laaha 'aleemum bizaatis sudoor
﴾8﴿ Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamaanoo koonoo qawwaa meena lillaahi shuhadaaa'a bilqist, wa laa yajrimannakum shana aanu qawmin 'alaaa allaa ta'diloo; i'diloo; huwa aqrabu littaqwaa wattaqul laah; innal laaha khabeerum bimaa ta'maloon
﴾9﴿ Wa'adal laahul lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati lahum maghfiratunw wa ajrun 'azeem
﴾10﴿ Wallazeena kafaroo wa kazzaboo bi Aayaatinaaa ulaaa'ika Ashaabul Jaheem

﴾7﴿ And remember the favor of Allah Almighty upon you (and fulfilled) the covenant that was made for you when you said, we heard and we obeyed And be afraid of Allah Almighty, surely Allah Almighty is aware of the words that are in the chests
﴾8﴿ O believers: Be the ones who rise up for the sake of Allah, the Exalted, be the ones who speak with justice And don't let the hatred of a people cause you to not be fair - Be fair, this is very close to piety, and fear Allah, the Most High, surely Allah is aware of what you do
﴾9﴿ Allah Almighty promised those who believed and acted in the way of the Prophet, forgiveness and a great reward
﴾10﴿ And those who disbelieved (in their hearts) and denied Our revelations (in their tongues), these are the people of Hell

[7] This also pertains to "Oufu bil-Uqood" (Fulfill the contracts), which encourages the fulfillment of contracts in three ways. The first is by mentioning blessings as a means of gratitude. Here, the term "blessings" refers to all types of blessings, which are countless, including guidance to Islam, life, health, and others, as well as the blessings mentioned in the previous verse. The second way of encouragement is through the mention of the divine covenant, indicating that these contracts are part of your covenant, making their fulfillment obligatory. Most commentators state that the noble companions made a contract when they pledged allegiance to the Noble Prophet (May Allah bless him and give him peace), and allegiance to the Prophet is allegiance to Allah. Some commentators believe that this covenant refers to the Day of Alast (the primordial covenant). "That which He bound you with" refers to the reaffirmation by Allah at all times through the Quran and the Messenger (May Allah bless him and give him peace). The third method of encouragement is through the command to fear Allah, meaning to guard oneself against breaking covenants, even if it is in the heart and remains hidden.
[8] This also pertains to "Oufu bil-Uqood" (Fulfill the contracts) and serves as encouragement for fulfilling contracts through three principles: steadfastness, justice, and piety, while prohibiting the cause of breaking covenants, which is enmity and prejudice. "Be steadfast for Allah" refers to complete perseverance and full effort in fulfilling the rights of Allah, done solely for His sake. "Witnesses in justice" refers to the rights of people, and testimony here is general, including giving witness, as well as conveying and inviting others to the truth with fairness and honesty, without favoritism towards relatives or bias due to enmity. "Let not hatred of a people incite you" means that enmity should not lead to committing a wrong. "Hatred" refers to internal hostility and resentment. "A people" is a general term, including disbelievers, polytheists, those who embraced faith after disbelief, and even those with whom there may be worldly enmity. Thus, enmity should not be a reason to abandon justice. "Be just" is a general command, encompassing justice in both the rights of Allah and the rights of people.
[9] In this verse, there is glad tidings for those who have faith and perform righteous deeds, even if they have not reached the level of being steadfast upholders of justice.
[10] In this, there is an admonition regarding the Hereafter. "Those" indicates exclusivity, and the word "companions" implies attachment, which in turn signifies permanence. This means that the punishment is eternal and exclusively reserved for the disbelievers.
