﴾54﴿Wa iz qaala Moosaa liqawmihee yaa qawmi innakum zalamtum anfusakum bittikhaa zikumul 'ijla fatoobooo ilaa Baari'ikum faqtulooo anfusakum zaalikum khairul lakum 'inda Baari'ikum fataaba 'alaikum; innahoo Huwat Tawwaabur Raheem
﴾55﴿Wa iz qultum yaa Moosaa lan nu'mina laka hattaa naral laaha jahratan fa akhazat kumus saa'iqatu wa antum tanzuroon
﴾53﴿ And when We gave Musa (peace be upon him) the book (Torah) that separates (right and wrong) so that you may find the way
﴾54﴿And when Moses, peace be upon him, said to his people, O my people, surely you have wronged your lives by taking the calf (to your God), so repent to your Creator, then take your lives, this (repentance) ) It is better for you to be with your creator, so he accepted your repentance, surely Allah Almighty is very repentant and merciful
﴾55﴿And when you said, O Musa, peace be upon him, we will never believe in you until we see Allah the Exalted, then strike you with lightning and you saw it
﴾56﴿We brought you back to life after your death in order to accept the favor of Allah
[53] This fourth bounty is the giving of the book for guidance and for them to become firm in monotheism - (الْفُرْقَانَ) (Al-Furqan) This is the third attribute of the Torah, either from the miracle of Moses, peace be upon him, or from its scriptures, with which the difference between truth and falsehood is made -
[54] This reward is the fifth, the purpose is that it was stipulated in the penitence to kill the criminals, but then he reduced it - that is, some were killed or all were pardoned (بَارِئِ) (Baari) for that essence which is the creator of separate forms and attributes - (أَنْفُسَكُمْ) (anfusakum) means the soul hand over yours to be killed, or the goal is to kill your fellow-men, those criminals who worshiped the calf - (فَاقْتُلُوا)(Faqtuluwa) This is the interpretation of repentance. It means that their repentance was prescribed to kill, or repentance was done with the tongue and heart, and killing was the punishment and completion of repentance, like our people, with repentance, stoning for adultery, and repentance is taking revenge. In the punishment for murder, and in this sense, there is repentance in verse (117) of Surah Al-Tawbah, and in the narrations that it is narrated that seventy thousand Jews were killed, it is an exaggeration of the Jews who want to show their abundance and blessings Formation -
[55,56] This is the sixth reward, that after death (punishment) you are brought back to life again, and this is the miracle of Moses, peace be upon him. The first verse is an introduction to mention the punishment and its cause, and its detail is in verse (155) of Surah Al-Araf - (لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ لَكَ) (lan nu'mina laka) the destination is Verbal faith means to confirm, that is, for Moses, peace be upon him, they used to say that we do not believe in your unseen news - (حَتَّى نَرَى اللَّهَ جَهْرَةً) (hattaa naral laaha jahratan) This question of his was very rude and careless - (الصَّاعِقَةُ) (saa'iqatu) with a terrible sound or thunder. They perished - (Mawtikum) the destination here is their real death, those who interpret it as unconsciousness are deniers of miracles, such events are in this surah in five verses (72,243,259 260) -
