﴾33﴿Qaala yaaa Aadamu ambi' hum biasmaaa'ihim falammaa amba ahum bi asmaaa'ihim qaala alam aqul lakum inneee a'lamu ghaibas samaawaati wal ardi wa a'lamu maa tubdoona wa maa kuntum taktumoon
﴾34﴿Wa iz qulnaa lilmalaaa'i katis judoo liAadama fasajadooo illaaa Ibleesa abaa wastakbara wa kaana minal kaafireen
﴾33﴿Allah Almighty said: O Adam, peace be upon him, inform them of the names of those things (and their benefits), so when He informed them of the names of those things (their benefits), he said, Allah Almighty, did I not say to You, I know the secret things of the earth and the heavens, and I know what you reveal and what you conceal
﴾34﴿And when we said to the angels, prostrate yourselves to Adam, peace be upon him, then they all prostrated, except Iblis, who denied it and was arrogant, and he was one of the disbelievers
[33] The purpose of these messages is to reveal to the angels that Adam, peace be upon him, knows these things - (أَلَمْ أَقُلْ لَكُمْ) (alam aqul lakum) In the story, the main goal is to prove the knowledge of the unseen and the knowledge of everything for Allah Almighty -
[34] This is the second story and it is mentioned in the Holy Qur'an in seven surahs for different wisdoms, here it mentions the fourth reward for humans, that Allah, the Most High, bestowed upon Adam, peace be upon him, the reward of prostration of the angels, life in paradise, and shari'i trials and descent to the earth, so that the system of creation and shari'i will be arranged accordingly، And he had taught repentance, these rewards are above all the children of Adam, peace be upon him - (اسْجُدُو)(is judoo) The purpose of sajdah is to bow down to bow down as a way of greeting and respect, and this kind of lowering the head as a way of bowing down to the creation is abrogated in this verse. This is written by Ibn Kathir and other commentators - (وَاسْتَكْبَرَ) (wastakbara) Arrogance is the opposite of accepting the right, and they look down on the people of the right, and arrogance is without the right to be arrogant, and every arrogance is sometimes due to merit, such as in the attribute of Allah, the Most High, And without right, as in the attribute of servants, here the exception of Iblis is cut off, because he was not of the angels, but of the jinn, and it is mentioned in verse (12) of Surah Al-Araf, and here the four states of Iblis are mentioned: not prostrating, denying the supposition Prostration, arrogance, which is the reason for denial, joining the disbelievers - (وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ) (wa kaana minal kaafireen) This has two meanings: firstly, in the knowledge of Allah Almighty, he was one of the disbelievers, and his life was not with the angels of honor, but it was a distraction, in the second meaning, he did not repent, and he became one of the disbelievers -
