فَمَنْ أَظْلَمَُ 1135 غافر

وَكَذَلِكَ حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ﴿۶﴾ الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ ﴿۷﴾ رَبَّنَا وَأَدْخِلْهُمْ جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ الَّتِي وَعَدْتَهُمْ وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ ﴿۸﴾ وَقِهِمُ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَمَنْ تَقِ السَّيِّئَاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُ وَذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ ﴿۹﴾

﴾6﴿ Wa kazaalika haqqat Kalimatu Rabbika 'alal lazeena kafarooo annahum Ashaabun Naar
﴾7﴿ Allazeena yahmiloonal 'Arsha wa man hawlahoo yusabbihoona bihamdi Rabbihim wa yu'minoona bihee wa yastaghfiroona lillazeena aamanoo Rabbanaa wasi'ta kulla shai'ir rahmatanw wa 'ilman faghfir lillazeena taaboo wattaba'oo sabeelaka wa qihim 'azaabal Jaheem
﴾8﴿ Rabbanaa wa adkhilhum Jannaati 'adninil latee wa'attahum wa man salaha min aabaaa'ihim wa azwaajihim wa zurriyyaatihim; innaka Antal 'Azeezul Hakeem
﴾9﴿ Wa qihimus saiyi-aat; wa man taqis saiyi-aati Yawma'izin faqad rahimtah; wa zaalika huwal fawzul 'azeem

﴾6﴿ Thus, the decree of your Lord has been finalized against the disbelievers—that they are the inhabitants of the Fire, dwelling therein forever
﴾7﴿ Those angels who bear the Throne of Allah Most High and those around it glorify Him with praise, believe in Him, and seek forgiveness for the believers. They say: Our Lord! You have encompassed everything in Your mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent from shirk and follow Your path, and protect them from the torment of the Fire
﴾8﴿ And Our Lord! Admit them into the Gardens of Eternity which You have promised them, along with those who were righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring. Indeed, You alone are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise
﴾9﴿ And protect them from the evil consequences of sins, for whomever You protect from the punishments on this Day, You have surely granted them mercy. And that is the supreme success

[6] This is a warning related to the Hereafter. "Ḥaqqat kalimatu rabbika" (حَقَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ)—the meaning of the fulfillment of the word refers either to the necessity of Allah’s decree in predestination or to the execution of Allah the Exalted’s final decision at the time of their punishment.
[7,8,9] These verses contain glad tidings for the monotheists after the warning to the deniers. This is the third theme. After mentioning the enmity of the disbelievers toward the believers, it now mentions the love and compassion of the angels for the believers to comfort them.
"Alladhīna yaḥmilūna al-‘arsh" (الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ)—these angels are specifically mentioned because they are extremely close to Allah, of high status, and possess great strength. In a hadith narrated by Jābir (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and give him peace) described one of the angels who bear the Throne: the distance from his earlobe to his shoulder would take seven hundred years to travel. The exact number of these angels is known only to Allah, as this hadith is not soundly established as a marfū‘ (attributed directly to the Prophet).
"Wa yastaghfirūna lillaḏīna āmanū" (وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا)—this shows that the angels are well-wishers of the believers. So, it becomes clear that sharing in the belief in the oneness of Allah is the basis for love and sincere advice (well-wishing). This encourages faith.
"Wasi‘ta kulla shay’in raḥmatan wa ‘ilman" (وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا)—this is also a means of seeking Allah's response through two of His attributes, because answering prayers requires immense mercy and full knowledge of the state of the supplicant.
"Wa-ittaba‘ū sabīlak" (وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ)—the phrase "tābū" (they repented) refers to believing in the oneness of Allah and avoiding shirk, while "wa-ittaba‘ū" (and they followed) refers to righteous deeds.
"Wa man ṣalaḥa" (وَمَنْ صَلَحَ)—this refers to those who shared in monotheism with the believer, like parents, spouses, and children, even if they did not struggle as the believer did. They will be admitted to Paradise to bring complete joy to that person. A similar mention is found in Surah Ra‘d (13:23).
According to a statement of Muṭarrif, the angels are among the greatest well-wishers of Allah’s servants because of these verses, while the devil is the greatest ill-wisher among creation toward them.
