اتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَْ 1002 لقمان

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوا رَبَّكُمْ وَاخْشَوْا يَوْمًا لَا يَجْزِي وَالِدٌ عَنْ وَلَدِهِ وَلَا مَوْلُودٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَنْ وَالِدِهِ شَيْئًا إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللَّهِ الْغَرُورُ ﴿۳۳﴾ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي الْأَرْحَامِ وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ مَاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا وَمَا تَدْرِي نَفْسٌ بِأَيِّ أَرْضٍ تَمُوتُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ ﴿۳۴﴾

﴾33﴿ Yaaa ayyuhan naasuttaqoo Rabbakum wakhshaw Yawmal laa yajzee waalidun 'anw waladihee wa laa mawloodun huwa jaazin 'anw waalidihee shai'aa; innaa wa'dal laahi haqqun falaa taghurran nakumul hayaatud dunyaa wa laa yaghur rannakum billaahil gharoor
﴾34﴿ Innal laaha 'indahoo 'ilmus saa'ati wa yunazzilul ghaisa wa ya'lamu maa fil arhaami wa maa tadree nafsum maazaa taksibu ghadaa; wa maa tadree nafsum bi ayyi ardin tamoot; innal laaha 'Aleemun Khabeer

﴾33﴿ O people, fear your Lord and fear the Day when a father cannot avail his child, nor can a child avail his father in anything. Indeed, the promise of Allah is true, so let not the life of this world deceive you, nor let the deceiver deceive you about Allah
﴾34﴿ Indeed, with Allah alone is the knowledge of the Hour. He sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in which land it will die. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing and All-Aware of hidden matters

[33] After presenting the detailed reasons for monotheism and the torments faced by those who deny it, there is a general call to monotheism and piety, along with warnings of the punishment in the Hereafter. (فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا) – This is a dissuasion from the worldly life, meaning one should not consider worldly life as eternal and should not become heedless of the Hereafter because of wealth, status, or worldly rank. This is similar to what is mentioned in Surah Al-Imran (3:185), that it is a deceptive enjoyment.
Regarding (بِاللَّهِ), the meaning is: it may be said to you that there is no Allah, or that Allah has partners and intercessors who will save you, or it may be said that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful, so commit sins without worry. Or it may be said that seeking a means to Allah is necessary, thus involving you in polytheistic means. Or it may be said that Allah is One, but He has delegated tasks to others, which leads to believing in other gods, creators, or providers besides Allah.
[34] This is a rational and scientific proof. The phrase عِندَهُ (with Him) is evidence that the knowledge of the Hour is exclusively with Allah. Since Allah taught the signs of it to the prophets, in one sense, knowledge was attained by others. That is why لَا تَدْرِي (you do not know) was not mentioned along with it.
(وَيُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ) – Here the verb نزول (sending down) is used, because sending rain is an act of Allah. This makes it clear that His existence is necessary for this world.
Here arises a question: knowledge of what is in the womb is now attainable through doctors’ instruments, so how can that knowledge be exclusive to Allah? The answer is that ما في الأرحام (what is in the womb) does not merely refer to the existence of a child or whether it's male or female, but rather, complete knowledge of all its conditions is intended—when it will be born, whether it will perform righteous or evil deeds, how long it will live, which lands it will travel to, how many and what kind of hardships it will face, whether it will be wealthy or poor, whether it will be of Paradise or Hell, etc. All these detailed conditions cannot be known by any instruments or anyone. This knowledge is exclusively for Allah.
Note: In an authentic hadith, these five matters are referred to as مفاتيح الغيب (keys of the unseen). This is not limited to just these five things; rather, each of them includes countless details—detailed conditions of the Day of Judgment, detailed states of rainfall, detailed conditions of the unborn child, detailed actions of tomorrow, detailed place and nature of death. These are the treasuries of the unseen.
