أَمَّنْ خَلَقََْ 955 القصص
وَمِنْ رَحْمَتِهِ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿۷۳﴾ وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِيَ الَّذِينَ كُنْتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ ﴿۷۴﴾ وَنَزَعْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوا أَنَّ الْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ ﴿۷۵﴾ إِنَّ قَارُونَ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمِ مُوسَى فَبَغَى عَلَيْهِمْ وَآتَيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْكُنُوزِ مَا إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُ لَتَنُوءُ بِالْعُصْبَةِ أُولِي الْقُوَّةِ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ قَوْمُهُ لَا تَفْرَحْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَرِحِينَ ﴿۷۶﴾ وَابْتَغِ فِيمَا آتَاكَ اللَّهُ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ وَلَا تَنْسَ نَصِيبَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَأَحْسِنْ كَمَا أَحْسَنَ اللَّهُ إِلَيْكَ وَلَا تَبْغِ الْفَسَادَ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ ﴿۷۷﴾
﴾73﴿ Wa mir rahmatihee ja'ala lakumul laila wannahaara litaskunoo feehi wa litabtaghoo min fadlihee wa la'allakum tashkuroon
﴾74﴿ Wa Yawma yunaadeehim fa yaqoolu aina shurakaaa'iyal lazeena kuntum tazz'umoon
﴾75﴿ Wa naza'naa min kulli ummatin shaheedan faqulnaa haatoo burhaanakum fa'alimooo annal haqqa lillaahi wa dalla 'anhum maa kaanoo yaftaroon
﴾76﴿ Inna Qaaroona kaana min qawmi Moosaa fabaghaaa 'alaihim wa aatainaahu minal kunoozi maaa inna mafaati hahoo latanooo'u bil'usbati ulil quwwati iz qaala lahoo qawmuhoo laa tafrah innal laahaa laa yuhibbul fariheen
﴾77﴿ Wabtaghi feemaaa aataakal laahud Daaral Aakhirata wa laa tansa naseebaka minad dunyaa wa ahsin kamaaa ahsanal laahu ilaika wa laa tabghil fasaada fil ardi innal laaha laa yuhibbul mufsideen
﴾73﴿ It is from His mercy that He made the night and the day, so that you may rest at night and seek the bounty of Allah during the day, and that you may give thanks
﴾74﴿ And the day He calls to them, then He will say, Where are those partners of mine you assumed
﴾75﴿ And we will bring forth a witness from each nation and say to them, Produce your proof (of polytheism). Then they will know that the truth belongs solely to Allah, and what they used to fabricate will vanish from them
﴾76﴿ Indeed, Korah was from the people of Moses, peace be upon him, but he oppressed them. We had given him so many treasures that indeed, their keys would burden a band of strong men. When his people said to him, Do not be arrogant; indeed, Allah does not love the arrogant

[73] This is the fifth rational proof, showing that the alternation of night and day and the benefits derived from their order and regulation are all under the control and will of Allah the Exalted.
"وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ" – the intended meaning here is acceptance of tawhid (monotheism) as a form of true gratitude.
[74,75] This is a warning of the Hereafter. What was mentioned in verse (63) referred to the corruption of their beliefs, while in this verse, the meaning is that their shirk (polytheism) is baseless and without proof.
"شَهِيدًا" – refers to those who had invited and conveyed the message to them. That person will testify on the Day of Judgment that “I did convey the message to them”, and will also testify to their denial.
"الْحَقَّ" – means the truth of worship and divinity, i.e., the right of Allah to be worshipped alone.
"مَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ" – refers to the fabricated stories of shirk they had invented regarding the saints and righteous people.
[76] This parable is a worldly warning and relates to verse (60). In this event, there is also proof that when Allah’s punishment comes upon a polytheist or disbeliever, no one can help them—neither their false gods, nor wealth, nor servants, nor disciples. This is illustrated in the case of Qarun, as explained in verse (81).
"مِنْ قَوْمِ مُوسَى" – It is well known that Qarun was the paternal cousin of Musa (peace be upon him). Musa’s father was Imran ibn Qahith, and Qarun’s father was Yas'har ibn Qahith.
"فَبَغَى عَلَيْهِمْ" – This is a comprehensive expression, including disbelief, shirk, arrogance, and oppression.
"وَآتَيْنَاهُ" – This indicates the reason for his rebellion, i.e., his excessive wealth. The words kunūz (treasures), mafātiḥ (keys), tanū’ (burdened), ‘uṣbah (group), and ʾulī al-quwwah (men of strength) are all clear evidence that his wealth was beyond count or limit.
The term kunūz (treasures) also hints that he had hidden, hoarded wealth, aside from his visible riches. This implies that he did not give zakat or charity, because “kanz (hoarding)” refers to wealth from which zakat is not paid.
The moment he expressed his rebellion is marked by the verse: "إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ قَوْمُهُ لَا تَفْرَحْ" – this "farah" (joy) refers to arrogant pride (baṭar), which leads a person to commit shirk, forget the Hereafter, ignore consequences, and feel no fear of Allah’s punishment.
[77] His people (which included Musa, peace be upon him) called him toward the truth, and in their advice, three prohibitions and two commands are mentioned, along with two encouragements:
Three prohibitions (مناهی):
1. Do not exult (فرح) with arrogance and pride.
2. Do not forget your share of the world (نسیان نصیب).
3. Do not seek corruption (فساد) in the land.
Two commands (اوامر):
4. "وَابْتَغِ فِيمَا آتَاكَ اللَّهُ الدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ" – Seek the Hereafter through what Allah has given you. This implies all aspects of tawhid, belief in the Hereafter, and Paradise.
5. "وَأَحْسِنْ" – Do good, referring to all righteous actions. When a wealthy person uses their wealth to serve the religion, that too is a form of Allah’s ihsan (favor).
Two encouragements (ترغیبات):
6. "إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَرِحِينَ" – Allah does not love the boastful.
7. "إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ" – Allah does not love those who spread corruption.
"وَلَا تَنْسَ نَصِيبَكَ" – Your share of wealth is not only in food, drink, and clothing, but also in spending it in the path of Allah. Likewise, your health, strength, and youth should also be spent for the sake of Allah.
"وَلَا تَبْغِ الْفَسَادَ" – To spread disbelief and shirk through the power of wealth is the greatest form of corruption.
